Our firm processes various types of visa petitions for family members and employers throughout the US. There are two types of visa petitions - immigrant visa petitions to obtain permanent resident status in the US and nonimmigrant visa petitions to obtain temporary visas to the US. Family-based visa petitions are for relatives to immigrate to the US. For example, a US citizen can sponsor his or her spouse or fiance with the filing of a visa petition with USCIS. Brothers and sisters and children of US citizens, as well as spouses and minor children of lawful permanent residents can also be sponsored. Companies can sponsor their employees to work for them by filing visa petitions.
